Description: The right shoulder presents acromioclavicular arthritis and arthralgia. There is subacromial impingement syndrome, fraying of the rotator cuff, tenosynovitis with longitudinal tear of the long head of the biceps tendon and SLAP tear of the superior labrum. The arthroscopic surgical steps demonstrate the release of the head of biceps tendon from its origin, a claviculectomy procedure and biceps tendon reattachment (tonodesis procedure) into the bicipital groove.
