Description: This exhibit begins with a sagittal view of the normal female anatomy of the pelvis followed by the same sagittal view of the anatomy with the uterus been surgically removed (stump) and perforation of the posterior wall of the bladder resulting in leak of urine into the abdominal cavity. The test for urinary bladder leaks is also illustrated and explained here, a procedure that should be done after hysterectomy for an early detection of injury and repair.
