T12 burst fracture with retropulsion of posterior bone fragments impinging upon the spinal cord. The surgical repair involved resection of the lamina from T12 and the inferior portion of T11. Pedicle screws are applied at T11 and L1, and percutaneous pedicles screws are placed at T10 and L2.
