Surgical Repair of Near-Complete Traumatic Amputation
This series of surgical illustrations begins with the debridement of the right foot and irrigation, followed by fixation of the talonavicular joint and the calcaneal cuboid joint using k-wires, fixation of the anterior process of the calcaneus with two compression screws, re-attachment of the peroneus brevis tendon to the 5th metatarsal with a cork screw and repair of the deltoid ligament with sutures.
