Surgical Fixation of Left 5th Metatarsal

ID: exh73770c
This medical exhibit begins with two to three images illustrating the metatarsal repair procedure. These images show the small incision created at the proximal aspect of the 5th metatarsal, the drilling of the guide pin down the shaft of the metatarsal and the insertion of the fixation screw over the guide pin. Also, one additional skeletal view is included to illustrate the post-operative condition with the fixation screw in place. An inset view of one of the actual post-operative x-rays is included.
