Description: This is a single custom exhibit depicting the resulting injuries due to the burst fracture sustained at L1.

The main image is an anterior figure orientating the L1 burst fracture, but also labelling areas of bilateral hip flexor weakness, limited sensation in the pelvic area, and incomplete neurogenic bowel and bladder symptoms.

The three smaller images illustrate further resulting symptoms. These depict areas of bilateral spasticity of the posterior tibialis muscles, numbness in the buttock region and right thigh, and the appearance of the patient’s feet with curled toes due to the toe flexor spasticity, respectively.
