Right Wrist Injuries with Surgery

ID: exh81776
This is a single custom board with two pre-operative images and five surgical steps. The pre-operative images show the palmer and dorsal sides of the right hand. The palmer view depicts the impinged median nerve causing carpal tunnel syndrome. The dorsal view shows a tear in the scapholunate ligament. The five steps include the freeing on the median nerve from the transverse carpal ligament, removal of inflamed tissue from the palmar tendons, the turning of the worst to the dorsal side and insertion of the arthroscopic instruments, the debridement and synovectomy of the capsule around the torn ligament, and then the tightening of the scapholunate ligament.
