Description: This exhibit depicts the medial muscle compartment and part of the anterior muscle compartment of the thigh been transected. Also part of the sciatic nerve is also injured, causing lower leg ischemia and drop foot. The surgical repair includes a reversed vein graft used to repair the femoral artery and the sural nerve harvested to repair the sciatic nerve.
