Right Shoulder Injuries with Surgical Repairs
Right Shoulder Injuries with Surgical Repairs This stock medical exhibit compares the normal anatomy of a right shoulder to the pre-operative condition of a shoulder with a humeral fracture and associated torn rotator cuff. Also included in this exhibit are three surgical illustrations indicating the repairs to this shoulder. An incision is made in the shoulder exposing the torn rotator cuff and fracture. Mitex suture anchors are impacted in the greater tuberosity and the supraspinatus and subscapular tendons are sutured down using these anchors. Two drill holes are placed in the shaft of the humerus and the sutures are passed through the drill holes.
