Right Knee Injuries with Arthroscopic Repairs
This exhibit begins with one anterior skeletal view of the right knee illustrating an anterior horn tear of the lateral meniscus, medial synovitis and chondromalacia of the patellofemoral joint. Also, the key steps of the arthroscopic repair procedure are depicted. These images include the insertion of the arthroscopic instruments, the removal of the torn portion of the meniscus, the resection of the overgrown synovium and the chondroplasty of the patellofemoral surfaces.
