Description: This stock medical exhibit features multiple views of the anterior left shoulder joint antomy to describe Prolonged Abduction of the Shoulder with Brachial Plexus Injury. The following views are illustrated: 1- Normal anatomy of the bones and nerves of the shoulder joint. 2- Anatomy of the bones and nerves of the shoulder joint when held in prolonged abduction (arm moved away from the body). The arm is shown positioned past 90° with subsequent injury to the nerves of the brachial plexus.
