This stock medical exhibit features a post-operative bile leak. The first image features an anterior silhouetted figure to identify the location of the gall bladder. The second illustration features an enlargement of the gall bladder region and shows the normal anatomy found in this area of the body. The third illustration shows the post-operative condition of the cystic duct following the removal of the gall bladder. The fourth illustration provides a look at the subsequent condition as the cystic duct has begun to breakdown and is actively leaking bile. The final image shows an anterior female figure and includes the abdominal organs as large pockets of bile have begun to fill the abdominal cavity.
