Future Triple Arthrodesis
The foot shown has healed from: Chopart joint fracture, comminuted calcaneus, dislocated talus, fractured navicular bone. This exhibit depicts further surgical procedures that this type of injuries may incur in the future including: fusion of the articular surfaces of the calcaneocuboid, talocalcaneus and talonavicular joints. Placement of multiple screws across the joints and adding bone graft over decorticated joints to promote bone fusion.
