Excision of Left Schwannoma with Injury to the Brachial Plexus
This exhibit depicts a schwannoma in the superior trunk of the brachial plexus. A biopsy is performed and a 'node' removed. The superior trunk of the brachial plexus is transected paralyzing muscles of the arm innervated by C5 and C6 that makes up the superior trunk.
