This exhibit consists of a single board depicting the pre-operative condition, three steps of the fixation surgery, and the post-operative condition of the patient’s right knee.rnThe pre-operative condition is depicted with an overall orientation of a right leg’s normal anatomy with two film interpretations of the patient’s fractures in the tibia and fibula a the knee joint. These are labeled as a depressed comminuted fracture of the lateral tibial condyle with the fracture extending through the tibial spine, seen anteriorly, and a comminuted fracture of the right fibular head from a side view.rnThe steps depicted of the surgery include the incision made to access the lateral side of the knee, the elevation of the bone fragments and the filling of the void with bone graft, and the placement of the screws and plates, along with film insets showing the plate and screws in place both anteriorly and laterally.rnThe last image is a representation of the fusion of the bone post-operatively and the continued pain and joint effusion that continues to plague the patient.
