Craniectomy and Right Frontal Partial Lobectomy
This stock medical exhibit begins with one cross-sectional view of the head/brain showing the multiple multiple right brain contusions diffuse cerebral edema and increased intracranial pressure. The remaining images depict multiple steps of the partial lobectomy procedure, including the bicoronal scalp incision, the large bifrontal craniectomy, the exposure and debridement of the right frontal lobe contusions, and the placement of drains and subdural catheter and closure of the dura.
