Description: This is a revision of DOE exh# 78896A. The final version includes four images.

The first one shows a wall cross-section of a piece of bowel with the serosa, mucosa, submucosa, and lumen labeled. The second image shows a cross section at a different view with the same labels.

The bottom two images are in accordance to the client’s condition. The bottom left shows a hole being torn in the bowel by the surgeon’s finger when he adhesions are removed. The bottom right shows the condition of the bowel after the leakage and adhesions have affected it.
