This medical exhibit consists of four illustrations on a single exhibit. The first illustration is a sagittal view of the normal anatomy of the anus and vagina of a four month old baby. The second illustration is a sagittal view of the pre-operative anatomy of patient when she was four months old. The fourchette and imperforate are shown. The third illustration shows the initial incision being made from the anus to the fourchette. The fourth illustration depicts the post-operative anatomy in sagittal view. It shows that the alimentary canal now exits the body through the sphincteric complex.
